Rodrigo - Concierto de Aranjuez
The Concierto de Aranjuez (1939) is named after one of Spain's most spectacular royal palaces in Madrid. There is no specific programme as such, rather a poetic distillation of Rodrigo's creative spirit as steeped in the folk-music tradition of his native country.
